Grok Bot 0.77.0: permissions, Vault payments, question cards
Grok Bot 0.77.0 adds per-login 1Password approval, memory import from another AI assistant, multi-question cards, Vault payment preferences and order/deal-watch templates.
Grok Bot just got an update with v0.77.0! 🚀 Permissions, Vault payments, and question cards Also includes v0.76.0 Changelog v0.77.0 New: • 1Password connects without a shared vault: you approve each login in 1Password, which fills it in the Bot's browser without the Bot seeing it. Requires Grok Bot 0.68.0 or later. • Import Memory to Grok Bot, in Settings, brings your preferences and context from another AI assistant into your primary Bot. Requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later. • Bots can ask several questions on one card that steps through them, with Your own answer when none of the choices fit. • Tables in chat have a copy button that copies them for Slack or as markdown, and wide tables open full screen with zoom. • The Vault has a Payments tab where you pick the payment method Bots use first, and you still approve every purchase. • Address fields in forms and the Vault suggest streets as you type, and a ZIP code fills in the city and state. • When Gmail signs you out, such as after Google revokes access, your primary Bot tells you in its chat and offers to reconnect. • After you connect your first app, the Bot offers one more that pairs with it, such as Google Calendar after Gmail. • Português (Portugal) joins the app's languages, and Brazilian Portuguese is now labeled Português (Brasil). • Right-click an emoji to pin it, and pinned emoji lead your quick reactions. • Page owners can delete a Page from the Library, which removes it for everyone it was shared with. • Order Concierge and Deal Watcher templates track your orders, refunds, and returns, and watch prices and coupons, never buying without your OK. • Bots can update a saved Vault entry's name, hint, and card details for you. • Custom MCP servers that use a private certificate authority work once you approve that authority. • In a DM with a Team Bot, teammates can have it message other Team Bots they can use. (Teams) • In Slack, Team Bots can edit messages they posted and remove reactions they added. (Teams) • Team admins can limit Bot sharing to admins, and share controls then say Your admin has disabled Bot sharing. (Teams) • Enterprise audit logs record changes to a team's trusted CA certificates. (Enterprise) Improved: • Grok Bot has a new typeface for text and code, including on Pages. Requires Grok Bot 0.68.0 or later. • A Bot's working status is a short phrase in your language, in the app and in Slack. • Connector buttons say Connect everywhere, a signed-out connector shows Not connected, and Your plugins offers Reconnect for one that stopped working. Requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later. • In Connect Apps, Add installs a plugin and opens its sign-in in one click, and Add and Uninstall finish as soon as they're saved. Requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later. • Plugins show Connecting… while you sign in and Connected once you're done. • Auto-review lets through more private actions you can undo without an approval card, and keeps an approval when only your open tabs change. • Background work you start in your own words no longer asks for Auto-review approval to start. • Auto-review approval cards stay open for 30 minutes instead of 10, in the app and in Slack. • Settings has a Permissions section that lists Auto-review rules under Always Ask and Allow without Asking, each with its own Add Rule button. Requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later. • Auto-review rule cards in chat show each rule as a sentence and name any older Allow rule removed to make room. • Approval cards name a connector by its service, adding the account when two accounts share a name. • Dictation writes words into the message box while you're still speaking. • Email draft cards have a Discard button again, so you can drop a draft without sending it. • Section headings in Settings, such as Appearance, now have Copy link too, not just individual settings. • The command palette shows each Bot's latest message and link text instead of markdown, and on a Mac moves with Ctrl-N and Ctrl-P. • The dock badge counts unread conversations instead of unread messages. • Wide tables show scroll arrows when you hover over them. • Vault entries have a Hints field that tells Bots when to use each one. • Saved addresses, phones, and emails appear together as Contact info in the Vault, and one contact can hold several emails and phone numbers. • Bots try your saved Vault logins and cards before a password manager or another way to pay. • The Vault lists the Bot's own email first, and editing a saved login shows the password masked, with Remove on the form. • When an app you ask for isn't installed, the Bot checks the plugin catalog and links the app's page in Connect Apps. • When the Bot hands you its computer to sign in to sites like Google, GitHub, or QuickBooks, it offers their connector, and connecting ends the handoff. • When an app connects without a sign-in, the Bot carries on with your task in the same reply. • The Bot removes or renames a connector only when you name that change yourself. • A plugin's accounts row says when a sign-in is waiting or didn't finish. • When you name an app in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, plugin search finds it by those words or retries with its English name. • Slack message drafts show a formatted preview and who the message notifies, and warn you when Slack can't confirm the channel. • In Slack, the Bot checks what a reply is answering before acting, and in DMs it answers follow-ups in their thread. • In shared Slack conversations, the Bot checks each post against who can read it before sending. • Someone who DMs a Bot in Slack without a linked account gets one Connect Slack account notice. • When a safety filter stops a computer task, the Bot tries again on another model before asking you to do that step. • Browser screenshots the Bot saves keep their full size, including tall pages, instead of a smaller copy. • Keys that apps on the Bot's computer store in the system keyring, such as Okta Verify's, now survive when the computer is recreated. • The Bot pays in a set order instead of asking which wallet to use, and offers Link one-time cards only in the US and Canada. • Asked what happens if an order goes wrong, the Bot cites only protections it has read and doesn't promise refunds. • When X Money isn't set up on your X account, the Bot links the Money tab on X. • When you ask a Bot to schedule something and no calendar is connected, it offers Google Calendar first, or Outlook Calendar if you use Outlook. • When your plan doesn't include routines, the Bot names the plan that does. • Every email a Bot sends from its own address to one other person now includes a one-click unsubscribe, not just the first. • Bots no longer send email to addresses that have permanently bounced. • Follow-ups to a running cloud agent the Bot started reach it right away. • Pictures on a Page fade in, and broken ones show their description. • File icons in chat and the Library have a new design. • Opening or closing the details pane slides the chat along with it. • Dialogs share consistent widths, and Connect Apps and the keyboard shortcuts sheet are wider. • With several apps connected, the sidebar footer folds Connect apps into an icon beside your name and no longer flashes open at launch. • Settings shows a single banner for combining your subscriptions into one plan. • Plugins a team admin wouldn't allow show Disabled by team admin. (Teams) • Team admins choose whether members can publish Bot templates publicly, only to the team, or not at all. (Teams) Fixed: • 1Password fills recover from more problems, such as a sleeping extension or an expired approval, and the Bot continues as soon as you approve. • On Windows and Linux, the Bot notices an installed 1Password app and can offer to connect it. • A message the server already accepted stays delivered, and Resend on one marked Not delivered yet sends it. • The chat stays steady while you scroll past tables and links or after zooming, and dragging a selection past a wide table scrolls it. • Desktop notifications close once you read the reply or the Bot stops waiting, and use the Bot's current name. • Answered questions stay answered, and unread counts no longer jump back. • Opening a chat shows its messages even when marking it read fails. • Images you send no longer flash gray after uploading, and camera photos keep their upright size. • In a long chat, two messages sent a moment apart both get answers. • When one of your Bots wakes another to do work, the second Bot's questions come to the chat where you asked. • Saved logins and cards fill more reliably, including on subdomains and Shopify checkouts, and stay out of unrelated fields. • Importing passwords from a CSV file skips each login's notes so long ones don't block it, and a full Vault says how many didn't fit. • Background work stops calling a connector that signed you out and tells you to reconnect it. • Connect cards appear only when a connector says you need to sign in, not for other errors. • Connect cards keep waiting while your newest sign-in page is open, and a refused sign-in sends you back to Grok Bot with the reason. • Connector sign-ins can finish up to an hour after you start them. • When Google throttles requests, Google apps stay connected and the Bot says to try again later instead of asking you to reconnect. • A Google account without Gmail stays connected, and the Bot asks for an account that has Gmail. • Adding a second Gmail or Google Drive account opens Google's account picker, and removing one account leaves the others in place. • Gmail replies quote the original so Gmail folds the thread, signature logos stay inline, and failed Gmail reads and sends retry. • Ask first and Block rules for Gmail searches and reads hold even when the Bot calls them by another name. • Signing in from a connect card resumes the Bot for more apps, such as QuickBooks, Zoho, and Workday, and for teammates on a Team Bot. • Jira and Confluence requests find your site on the first try. • Vercel runtime log requests that reach past your plan's retention return the logs it keeps. • A connector whose server refuses registration shows Error instead of a sign-in that can't work. • A connector access card that expires or is interrupted says so, and the Bot knows the action didn't run. • When background work needs one of your apps, the Bot asks with an allow card in the app, or Allow once and Skip in Slack. • In Slack, people without a linked Grok Bot account can't use the owner's logins or private data through the owner's Bot. • In Slack, a Bot can still read its thread and channels when a Slack connector is also connected or connector lookup fails. • In Slack, a message the Bot sends without naming a conversation posts once, in the current conversation. • After a failed Slack turn, a retry reads the whole thread. • Slack routines that listen for messages see images on the message that started them. • Settings and sidebar changes that can't be saved go back to the saved state, and folder changes from two devices no longer overwrite each other. • When usage can't load, Usage & Billing keeps the last reading with Try again, even after a relaunch. • When an update is ready while a Bot is working, Grok Bot offers Stop and Update. • A Bot's template skills show under Private skills, labeled From template. • Links to Grok Bot inside a Page open in the app, and a Page opened from the Library shows a save made while it loaded. • After you're removed from a team, your personal Pages show in the Library again. • Teammates see Pages shared with the team in a Team Bot's Library, under Shared with your team. (Teams) • Mentions of Bots with names longer than one word open that Bot. • Names, titles, and instructions cut at a length limit no longer split an emoji. • The full-screen media viewer's title follows the item on screen. • The computer view leaves Waking up once the screen is ready. • Taking over the Bot's computer to sign in with a security key opens the security key prompt. • The Bot's computer stays up when memory runs low and recovers faster after a crash, so fewer turns end on Couldn't Reach Grok Bot's Computer. • Commands on the Bot's computer that wait for input, such as package install prompts, finish instead of hanging. • The Bot's browser keeps site logins after its last window closes, and Apple ID sign-in forms fill correctly. • With Route traffic through this computer on, plain http pages load, and the Bot says when your computer goes offline. • Commands a Bot runs on your computer keep going while a file copies to it. • Commits a cloud agent makes keep your co-author line. • Reconnect on X Money starts a fresh sign-in. • The time zone picker includes Europe/Kyiv. • In right-to-left languages, full-screen viewer close buttons sit clear of the window controls. • White connector logos stay visible in the light theme. • After an account merge, an account with no Bots sees Meet Grok Bot. • Going Back from a plugin whose sign-in you didn't finish shows Connect again instead of Reconnect. Requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later. • The Cumulative Spend chart scales to the spend it shows. (Enterprise) • Linked teammates on a Team Bot use their own connectors and memory. (Teams) • A Team Bot that acknowledges a request without answering follows up with the answer. (Teams) • A published Team Bot no longer says everyone on the team can use it. (Teams) • Share on a Team Bot's team access card gives the team access. (Teams) • In a teammate's 1:1 with a Team Bot, notes about them saved in another chat carry over. (Teams) • In a teammate's own chat with your Team Bot, computer permission buttons are disabled. (Teams) • On a Team Bot, a teammate whose app account has a label can sign in from the connect card. (Teams) • Team Bots follow the skill guide of a connector a teammate allowed. (Teams)
