very impressive release from @periodiclabs. have been looking forward to seeing what they would drop. here you are: they are closing the loop between experiments in a high-throughput materials lab and models by mid-training and RLing an open-source model to surpass GPT-6 Astra on their benchmark bullish on neolabs that dive deep into vertical frontiers and build the research, infra, and even an AI-native wet lab around them
