OpenAI Dev Day promises 20+ launches, but Anthropic raised the bar first
Anthropic released Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 just before Dev Day, and both look competitive with Sol and Astra, leaving OpenAI a higher bar to clear.

openai is planning 20+ launches today but anthropic dropping opus 5.5 and sonnet 5.5 right before devday definitely changes the mood. both models look extremely competitive with sol and astra, so oai now has a much higher bar to clear couldn't have picked a better week for this
