opus 5.5 is not as affordable to use compared to an openai model, especially when using higher effort it is not outright the best especially when you factor in fallback, so acting like it blows everything else away is exaggerated when it isn't significantly better than GPT-6 astra also, anthropic has no decent non-opus model anymore
