Frontier model watchlist narrows to Kimi K3.1 and Gemini 4 Pro
The author counts three frontier models already released this week, says the Anthropic entries are actually Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5, and lists only Kimi K3.1 and Gemini 4 Pro as remaining, doubting Gemini will arrive on schedule.

we’re getting ahead on this list 3 frontier models already dropped correction on the anthropic ones i listed earlier it’s sonnet 5.5 + haiku 5.5 both should launch in a few weeks all that’s left now is kimi k3.1 and gemini 4 pro higher chance we get kimi not so sure about gemini anymore qwen 4 family got previewed yesterday but still not live friday is autumn festival (中秋节) so chinese labs could still cook anything else we’re looking forward to this week?
