Grok Bot launches its own email address service
Grok Bot now offers its own email address, and the author, having claimed one, imagines a future where AI agents handle email and replace Gmail and app-filled phones.
Grok @bot just gave us a little glimpse of a future where we might not need Gmail, Outlook, or even a smartphone full of apps anymore 👀 Grok Bot now has its own email address service, and I just secured mine! 😃 Reminds me of the 1990s when AOL and MSN were all the rage and you could still grab one of those one word email addresses before everybody else got there. It’s rather exciting to experience that, only this time we’re claiming names for our AI agents! Yet the email address itself is only a small part of why I’m so excited about this 👇🏻 Remember when Elon was on Joe Rogan talking about the future of smartphones? He predicted that eventually we wouldn’t need traditional phones with operating systems and a million different apps demanding our attention. Instead, we’d have AI powered devices, and we’d interact with AI to accomplish whatever we needed digitally I’ve been thinking about that future ever since, because I can imagine our AI agents becoming the primary way we interact with the entire digital world. Rather than opening Gmail, switching to another app, checking a website, and managing everything ourselves, we’d simply tell our bots what we need done. They’d handle the connections and all those little digital chores for us Now Grok Bot has its own email address. It’s one more piece of that future starting to fall into place, and it’s happening considerably faster than I expected! Imagine a world where you don’t even need to maintain a separate Gmail or Outlook account because your AI agent handles your digital correspondence for you. This is a rather wonderful step in that direction If you’ve been wanting a particular Grok Bot email name, you might want to claim it before somebody else thinks of it! 🤖❤️
