A retired engineer runs 30 AI subscriptions, rotating Astra and Opus
A retired engineer says he burns through 17 ChatGPT 20X subscriptions on Astra each week, plus Devin and Claude Max subs, for 30 total, and calls this the rational way to work right now.
i use 6 AI subscriptions at a time. 2 laptops running 24/7. i use up 5 subs a day on average which is why i need 30 of them to get through the week. i start off the week by burning my 17 @ChatGPT 20X subs on Astra in a few days. in parallel i work through my 7 @DevinAI Max subs. SWE-2 is free and ~unlimited on the Max plan which is awesome. i also have a bunch of work going on Opus 5.5. towards the end of the week my 5 @claudeai Max subs come online and I spend the weekend with Fable and Opus. many people seem to find this shocking or idiotic but i honestly think this is the rational thing to be doing right now if you have: - deep software engineering experience (i'm a former founder & worked at stripe for 8 years) - a lot of free time (i'm retired) - a lot of ideas (i have severe AI psychosis) few understand this. @GeoffreyHuntley is the og. @steipete also. who am i missing?
