Instinct and Decagon open-source PACT agent trust protocol
Instinct users can have their personal assistant talk directly to Decagon's AI support agents to resolve issues, and the two companies are open-sourcing PACT to handle agent identity and user consent.
As an Instinct power user, I’m excited we’ve partnered with their team so your personal agent can talk directly to Decagon’s AI support agents and get issues resolved for you. Businesses need a secure way to verify which agent is calling, who it represents, and what the user has authorized. To solve that, we built the Personal Agent Consent & Trust Protocol (PACT) together and are open-sourcing it today. PACT builds on A2A and OAuth to handle agent identity and customer consent. These are things every personal-agent team and business platform needs to get right. A shared standard means they can build on the same foundation instead of working out a different approach for every integration.
