Anthropic has officially gone through with their 17% reduction in weekly usage. There has never been a worse time for the average consumer building with AI. Fable and Opus use must be rationed while Sonnet is the only viable weekly driver. OpenAI usage is a total mess. Astra and Sol decimate weekly usage leaving Luna as the alternative. SpaceX is nowhere to be found with no grok 4.7 updates posted. If the industry continues in this direction open weight models might be the only option.
