GPT-6.1 Astra appears to be coming next week. OpenAI leaked reports last week that Astra 6.1 was too “dangerous”. Potato then asked Tibo where the OpenAI “6 month advantage” was? Tibo clapped back that we don’t know what is coming next week. Codex is way behind Claude and a new version of their flagship model would fix this. Fable 5.5, Astra 6.1 and Argon look to be coming next week. The pacing is clearly slowing these labs down.
