Will Google ever reach the model frontier? I have been grinding Gemini 4 Argon today and it has been an eye opening experience. The Google team is still trying to hype Argon which makes me suspicious about Carbon’s supposed capabilities. I’m not sure Google is ever going to have a model more capable than Opus 5.5. The Gemini team has the talent, capital and compute but they might just be too far behind.
