Astra can build a space shuttle in one prompt but struggles with an anime character
A user spent a full day and half a week's quota trying to get GPT-6 Astra to generate a decent anime character in Blender, with each iteration fixing one thing and breaking another.
GPT-6 Astra can build a fucking Space Shuttle in Blender from one prompt, but apparently an anime girl is where the frontier ends. I spent an entire day trying to get one character that actually looked good. Not a photoreal human. Not some insane facial rig. Literally an anime character. Half of my weekly limit is gone. Every iteration fixes one thing and breaks another: face, hair, proportions, eyes, body, materials. You keep thinking the next run will finally nail it, and suddenly you have burned hours and a ridiculous amount of quota on one girl. That is what annoys me about Astra right now. It can chew through absurdly complex technical scenes, then something as visually simple as a clean, attractive character becomes a token furnace. The model is insanely capable. Character creation is still where my weekly limit goes to die.
