Seven steps to get started with Jev: API key, SDKs, and a waitlist shortcut

From joining the waitlist to installing the Python or JS SDK and sending a first typed request, plus gateway routes through Vercel, Cloudflare, and Netlify that skip the wait.

Jev from @typesafeai is making waves now. There is no option for non-coders currently. Here are 7 quick steps to get started on it; there is a waitlist, but a shortcut as well. How to sign up: 1. Go to http://typesafe.ai and click "Join Waitlist." Early access is gated; TypeSafe says it is pulling developers off the waitlist as fast as it can, and reports it cleared roughly 140,000 waitlist signups within 36 hours of launch (self-reported). 2. Wait for your invite, then sign in at http://console.typesafe.ai 3. Create an API key at http://console.typesafe.ai/settings/keys 4. Install an SDK — Python (pip install typesafe-sdk) or JavaScript (@typesafe-ai/sdk). Both read a TYPESAFE_API_KEY environment variable and default to the jev-latest model. 5. Make your first call: send a "state" (a string, a JSON object, or an array of text) plus a map of typed questions. You get back typed answers with probabilities. 6. Skip the waitlist if you're impatient: Jev is generally available through the Vercel AI Gateway (typesafe-ai/jev, any Vercel account can get a key today), Cloudflare Workers AI (typesafe/jev), and Netlify AI Gateway (zero config, no API key — usage billed to Netlify credits). A free browser Playground in the console also lets you paste a state and see answers. 7. Non-coders: there is no consumer app or chatbot. The nearest thing to "just try it" without code is the Playground or one of the no-code/agent platforms (e.g., MindStudio) that have added Jev.
