Protein in-painting with Boltz in Codex, then a video by Astra
A section of GFP was masked out and replaced with an ALFA nanobody tag, the resulting structures were cross-checked with Protenix and SimpleFold, and GPT-6 Astra then made a video of the workflow.
Protein in-painting test in Codex Rosalind Workbench using Boltz A section of GFP was masked out and replaced with an ALFA nanobody tag. Newly generated sequences flanking the tag were guided by the shape of the GFP barrel. After, Bytedance's Protenix and Apple's SimpleFold were used as two extra structural “checks”. Meaning, after Boltz took care of the in-painting, the resulting sequences were fed into Protenix and SimpleFold just to see how those structures compared to the Boltz-generated structures, and how all of these compared to WT GFP. GPT 6 Astra then made a video on the workflow
