Grok Bot just got its own email address. And it can detect scam emails before you click them. On October 9, 2026 SpaceXAI announced that every Grok Bot can now claim a dedicated email inbox at @mail.grokbot.com. On October 13 Elon Musk announced the scam detection feature. On October 14 a user forwarded a suspicious email to his Grok Bot. The Bot found a hidden phishing link that the user, the email’s SPF/DKIM authentication, and even the blue checkmark verification all missed. Musk quoted the post with one line: “Grok @Bot can detect scam emails.” An AI agent that reads your inbox. Summarizes your messages. Drafts replies. Signs up for services on your behalf. Contacts businesses for you. Schedules meetings. And catches phishing attacks that bypass every traditional email filter. This isn’t a chatbot upgrade. It’s an AI email assistant that lives in its own inbox separate from yours and handles the parts of email most people dread. Here’s everything Grok Bot’s email system can do, how the scam detection works, and the security questions nobody’s asking yet 🧵
