There was a ~significant~ gap 2 months ago that has narrowed with GLM5.3 full and even better DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017. Today with DSV4.1F on 4 Sparks you get both speed and intelligence where as before you had to pick one. Opus 5.5 is better, but can you be productive fully locally? 100% Yes. Will you save money or time. 100% No.
