X should use Jev to flag spam and copied content, author argues
The author proposes that X use Jev to make fast, structured judgments on text, account history and suspected originals, flagging suspicious accounts and passing hard cases to Grok.
X should buy Jev. Bots, spam and accounts stealing content are slowly ruining this place: someone spends hours creating something. Another account copies it in 10 seconds, posts it as their own and gets the reach. Great incentive system 😂 But Jev could solve what Grok could not. Jev is an AI model built for fast, structured decisions: roughly 200x faster and 400x cheaper than the LLMs! X could use it on spam and copied posts immediately. Give it the text, relevant account history and potential originals of any account in X and use it to flag suspicious cases, with Grok handling the harder ones. Those numbers would need to hold up on actual X traffic. But even a fraction of that advantage could be huge! And xAI gets the team and technology behind a promising model for cheap, fast decisions inside software. This is going to happen, except Anhtropic, Google or OpenAI moves faster.
