Muse Connectors opens MCP submissions with stricter rules than ChatGPT and Claude
Muse has opened MCP submissions to its Connectors directory, requiring servers to match their website's capabilities and add more value, and the author estimates under 5% of current ChatGPT and Claude connectors would qualify.
Muse Connectors Plateform is out! It's now possible to submit your MCP to the Muse Connectors directory. They are taking a very different approach from ChatGPT and Claude: 1. your MCP needs to be at least as capable as your website! If users can do returns on your website, you need to also provide that capability in your MCP server. 2. your MCP needs to bring more value than your website! Seems hard, but actually trivial if 1. is done because it's just a lot faster than browser-use. I think that less 5% of current Claude and ChatGPT Connectors/Plugins qualify for these core requirements! Brands will need A LOT of work to get into Muse.
