Def don't use gpt-6-astra. Here's why: I ran the same engineering tasks (design/review) on all three codex agents, then had them blindly rank each other’s work. GPT-6.1-sol xhigh wins most of the time. Estimated costs: • Sol xhigh: $1.59 • Astra high: $5.03 • Astra xhigh: $9.89 Better results, 3–6× cheaper. I just don't see the reason to use gpt-6-astra unless I'm doing 3D design.
