User asks Grok Bot team for an upgrade button after hitting usage limit
A user blocked by the Grok Bot usage cap complains there is no paid upgrade option, that SuperGrok or Heavy may not raise the Bot limit, and that the account link cannot be moved.
I have a genius idea for the Grok @bot team how to DOUBLE revenue overnight: When users run up against the limit (ME!), Introduce an option to UPGRADE THEIR PLAN. Like: a button in settings > plan > upgrade > two or three options to pay MORE MONEY. I know it sounds crazy - but believe me, you would make MORE MONEY and also - nice side effect - people would not have to STOP USING GrokBOT once they hit the limit. @elonmusk @grok @cursor_ai +++ Right now, you send me into text hell and push me around between cursor, Grok, X with a million account options, of which none probably would increase my usage limits. After asking Grok how to upgrade, this is the best answer I got: +++ What is low confidence: • Paying for SuperGrok, Plus, or Heavy and expecting the Bot meter to jump. Docs say a higher SuperGrok tier raises the linked grant, and that it can take up to 24 hours. They also say the link is permanent and support cannot move it. People have already lost paid Heavy access because a deleted Cursor account kept the link. If your X account is already linked, there is no documented way to swap that grant for a SuperGrok one. So if you just want more Bot turns this week, turn on on-demand and cap it. Do not buy a second subscription until the plan screen shows a Link Grok Account button on the account you actually use, and you are willing to be stuck with that link.
