$500 ChatGPT plan isn't worth it, user says, recommending a downgrade
The author argues the $500 tier is poor value unless time is critical, says Astra can chase its tail, and suggests downgrading or switching to the $200 Claude plan for better value.
I think the ChatGPT 500 plan is really not worth it unless you are in an absolute time crisis and must have ultrafast, and even then Astra can chase its tail Downgrading makes more sense, and Ultra is the better move (or another Claude) Argon is really awesome, and Grok Bot is better than Dot even if Dot is slightly smarter, since its smart enough for the tasks it should get and you should be closer to the metal anyway if you need a truly smart model The only reason 500 might be worth it this month is if they do a bunch of resets, but the Claude 200 plan is delivering something like 10x the value of the ChatGPT 500 plan right now
