Gemini 4 Argon expands to API and subscription access with introductory pricing
Argon moves from its September 30 cybersecurity rollout to developers and enterprises, with Pro and Ultra access and introductory API pricing of $2/$10 per million tokens rising to $4/$20 in December.

Google $GOOGL is bringing Gemini 4 Argon to a much broader paid audience. The September 30 introduction started with trusted cybersecurity defenders. Today's rollout opens the API to developers and enterprises, puts Argon in the Gemini app and AI Mode for Pro and Ultra subscribers, and adds Antigravity access for Ultra subscribers. Introductory API pricing is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens through November 30. After that, the public-access model moves to $4 and $20. Google is targeting demanding coding, finance, legal and scientific work. The commercial opportunity is concrete: sell model usage through the API and put the same model into paid products customers already use. Broader access gives more customers a way to try those workflows.
