Developer replicates Jev with DiffusionGemma and open-sources the repo
A developer replicated Jev using DiffusionGemma and a lightweight Astra harness, landing within 2% on published benchmarks with a 0% hallucination rate and about $0.15 per million input tokens, with the code open-sourced.

I just replicated Jev using DiffusionGemma and a very light harness built with Astra. Because of the harnessing, hallucination rate is also exactly 0%. I got within 2% of their results on their published benchmarks, also ran the @every suite and got 96% agreement with Jev. The cost of this model was 0.15 / M tok input on @modal's expensive but incredibly convenient H100s, could halve it or more with reserved capacity. Repo: https://github.com/JoshuaSP/open-jev
