Hands-on: Argon trails Opus 5.5 and Astra, user says
After testing, a user says Gemini 4 Argon is good with visuals and complex documents but still lags Opus 5.5 on coding and agent tasks, and feels less consistent overall than GPT-6 Astra.

my quick thoughts on Gemini 4 Argon.. Opus 5.5 > Astra > Argon it's a good model, but i still can't see myself picking it over the other two.. pretty impressed with what it can do with visuals and complex documents, but for actual coding and agentic work, opus still way ahead. Astra also feels more consistent to me overall.. maybe i was expecting too much from Google, but Argon just doesn't feel like a big enough leap tbh..
