Local MCP desktop app builds a second brain for a trading model
The author built a desktop app that connects to Claude or ChatGPT Desktop through a local MCP, turning scattered notes and documents into a knowledge graph and flagging conflicting trading rules.

I started building an Obsidian + AI setup to create a second brain for my trading model. I think I took it a little too far... I ended up building a desktop app that connects directly to Claude or ChatGPT Desktop through a local MCP. You can throw random documents, notes, images, and other material at it, and it automatically starts building the brain: connecting concepts, generating the knowledge graph and decision flows, and even tracking the model’s health by detecting conflicting rules, inconsistencies, or missing pieces.
