She's lucky to have you. I have lung cancer too, and the biggest lesson so far is that the best option often isn't the one in front of you. It might be approved in another country, sitting in a trial three states away, or still being built (or in China): Sounds like you and your family were exceptional with tracking down the needed treatments.
