Leak: OpenAI to unveil always-on agent "o/Aeon" tomorrow
A poster says OpenAI will reveal its always-on agent, "o" or "Aeon", tomorrow, and expects Astra to get an update to show it still leads.
At this point its no secret anymore that tomorrow "o" (or "Aeon") will be revealed, OpenAIs always-on-agent. The hire of Peter Steinberger is going to pay off. After the events of the last few days, all eyes will be on the newest models. OpenAI held the lead for a long time, pushing Anthropic into the background. Now the tables have turned. Many rumors are circulating; we'll see what's true tomorrow. However, I think Astra will at least receive an update to demonstrate, on its most important day, that it remains the dominant player.
