Voice brief recommended before building a Grok Bot
Instead of copying someone else's bot setup, describe your work, frustrations and desired outcomes by voice first, then have Grok Bot suggest three tasks.
STOP SPENDING HOURS COPYING GROK BOT SETUPS. TRY THIS VOICE BRIEF BEFORE BUILDING ANOTHER BOT. Blake Schuller, an AI deployment manager at SpaceXAI, shared a different starting point: "describe your work, what frustrates you and where things break. give that context to Grok Bot before choosing its tasks." start with your needs, not a stranger's collection of bots. i'd turn that into these five talking points, not another list of bots to collect: 1. what you actually do › describe the work and the results people expect from you. a job title alone leaves too much to guess. 2. what you want to keep doing › name the parts you enjoy or want to handle yourself. useful assistance should protect that time, not replace it. 3. what keeps stealing your attention › describe repeated searches, copying between apps or rewriting the same material. give one real example. 4. where the process breaks › explain what arrives late, gets lost or needs constant correction. name the tools involved, without sharing secrets. 5. what a useful result looks like › a comparison you can decide from, a document you can open or an email draft ready for review. be specific. send the transcript to Grok Bot with this adapted instruction: "propose three useful tasks from this context. for each, name the required input, finished output and access needed. rank them by practical value. explain your reasoning, flag assumptions and ask about missing details. recommend one small first task. do not connect accounts, create routines or take external actions until i approve." the quoted charter gives that first bot its responsibilities and stop rules. the voice brief gives it your actual work. keep this brief for your first setup. templates give you a starting point, not your priorities.
