Hark Pro hands-on: nice interface, but setup breaks at every step

A user trying Hark Pro hit unclickable browser windows, a GitHub redirect URL error, silent voice previews, failed location detection and a broken 2FA QR code, and sees the product as rushed and likely a reaction to Meta Muse and Grok Bot.

Some quick impressions of Hark Pro: The initial interface looks really nice, but then it starts to open browser windows that you can't click in, or buttons for logging into connectors without any option to add a password that breaks the immersion. I tried to connect to GitHub and got a random error about a redirect URL. I went into the settings to change the voice, and when you click on a voice, you can't hear anything, so you can't tell what the voice sounds like. When you use dictation, Windows thinks it's a meeting, and I get Wispr Flow's Notetaker and my laptop's conference/personal toggle. I shared my location, but it can't find me. I just get a "Try Again" box. The "Create New Panel" seems to create the panel for me without any input from me, so I've got no control over what that panel is going to be. Dark mode isn't very dark. 2FA QR code doesn't work. The message from Brett below says he doesn't want to use a computer, but unfortunately you need to use a computer a LOT to get set up. This feels a bit rushed, much like Dots. I'm wondering whether this is just a reaction to Meta AI's Muse and Grok Bot. It's free until 6th November, though; try it: https://hark.com/
