Jev plus CUA will spawn many tiny specialist models

The author predicts Jev plus CUA will produce many specialist models each doing one narrow job, such as scoring, retry decisions, or form filling, with a frontier model sitting on top.

I think Jev + CUA just opened the floodgates… We’re about to get a TON of tiny specialist models built for one stupidly specific job. Things like: • scoring agent outputs • deciding retry / continue / escalate • form filling • web searcher • CRM updates • Financial spend • support ticket routing • document sorting • retrieval reranking • UI decisions • data extraction • context window management • tool selection • agent operator • SEO expert Then one frontier model sits above all of them and handles the hard stuff. Astra / Fable / whatever is best = the brain. Everything repetitive gets handed to something tiny, fast and insanely cheap. Jev blew up. CUA blew up literally a day later. I’d be shocked if this market isn’t flooded with tiny specialist models over the next few months.

This post quotes another post: “Cua builds a 2.8MB form-filling model in the spirit of Jev”
