If you were busy yesterday, OpenAI dropped a lot Here’s a quick catch-up on 7 updates worth knowing if you’re building a SaaS 👇 1. Dots AI agents that can keep working on projects through connected apps and their own cloud computer, with permissions and review controls 2. GPT-6.1 Sol OpenAI says it gets close to Astra on several work tasks at a much lower API price Available in Work, Codex and the API, not yet in regular Chat 3. Ultrafast Up to 8× faster token generation for Astra in Codex on eligible plans. That doesn’t mean every task finishes 8× faster, but less waiting for output is welcome 4. Space and Pages Shared documents where your team and AI can work together. Collaborative slides are coming soon too 5. Plugin extensions Developers can build sidebar apps, conversation panels and file viewers inside ChatGPT. Worth a look if you want your SaaS to show up inside that experience 6. Codex Cloud Hand off a coding task, close your laptop and come back to review the changes 7. Team workflows ChatGPT in Slack and Teams, plus shared tasks that run on a schedule or respond to events Access varies by plan and rollout, so you might not see everything in your account yet As a brand designer, the part I keep coming back to is how you explain a product that suddenly does this much... Dots, Space, Pages.
