Anthropic IPO may slip past midterms as GPT Astra and Gemini 4 Pro rumors build
Analysts say Anthropic could push its IPO to after the November US midterms to show more revenue growth and respond to GPT Astra, while noting the unreleased Gemini 4 Pro is unlikely to compete with the two leading labs.

people are less sure of Anthropic's IPO happening this year Anthropic could push its IPO to after the November US midterm elections and there're several potential reasons for that: > a need to respond to GPT Astra > another quarter of revenue growth > potentially >$100B annualized revenue so in general, more time to show investors its Q3 numbers and competitive position odds are tanking fast, with December 31 falling from 96% to 69% and November is at coinflip levels rumors of a new model are already heating up, with potential release within next week most likely, it's gonna be a new Opus model as a response to a crazy good GPT Astra and there's also the new, unreleased Gemini 4 Pro, but i can't see how it competes with the last two standing giants of heavy-use-capable AIs
