Developer criticizes OpenAI for halving limits to push Dots
A user complains that 20x limits were cut in half, that Dots will share the Codex usage pool in a month, and that Astra is extremely slow to respond.

No like I REALLY don't understand @OpenAI's dots. They cut our limit in half, and say "You have this new dots feature that doesn't use your usage limits". Dots will start using your usage limits for normal conversations in 1 month, same usage pool as Codex. It fundamentally has the same capabilities as Codex. Less easy to access because its on http://chatgpt.com and restricted to some geo areas. Meant to compete with Grok Bot, but dots has less limits, because it's not a separate limit bar, less features because you currently can't make multiple and have them communicate with each other, and just a worse experience because ASTRA TAKES 7 YEARS TO RESPOND HALF THE TIME. @OpenAI I don't know what you are trying to do, dots is not good enough justification for cutting 20x limits in half.
