Developer says Grok Bot saved hundreds of hours in a week
Lunduke says he settled on Grok Bot for vibe coding after Claude and others failed his tests, estimating it saved him 25–30 hours of research and about 500 hours of coding and sysadmin work in a week.
I have exclusively settled on @Grok @Bot for “vibe coding” (and some other AI tasks). Played around with Claude and a few others, using a few different approaches and “harnesses”. They all failed, pretty significantly, on most of my tests (research, coding, etc.). Grok Bot is, in my testing so far, the best at doing what I actually find useful. I’m currently using Super Grok Heavy, which runs $300 per month. For the time it saves me, this is a crazy good bargain. Over the last week alone, I’d say the way I’ve used Grok Bot has saved me: - Roughly 25 to 30 hours of work in investigating stories, digging up leads, and compiling data. (Effectively a paid journalist intern.) - Roughly 500 hours (give or take) of work in coding, packaging, and sysadmin work. Obviously I wasn’t going to do a full five hundred hours of work this week myself… which means Grok Bot has allowed me to significantly multiply what I can get done. And that’s just the last week. With quality results. For me, this is the equivalent of paying a team of 12 people (reasonably well trained) roughly 14 cents per hour. Without them complaining.
