Grok Bot to route tasks to Claude, Midjourney, Suno and other backends
The author endorses Grok Bot routing tasks to whichever model fits best, and says its account connections, persistent context, always-on computer and messaging interface make automation accessible to non-technical users.
Routing work to the model best suited to the task is one of the smartest product decisions Grok Bot could make. Elon says the plan is to use whichever backend is most likely to produce the best result, including Claude, Midjourney and Suno. I like that decision. If another company’s model does a particular job better, using it makes your product more useful. The customer gets the benefit without having to switch applications or rebuild the workflow. I’m also surprised by how good Grok Bot is. A lot of the appeal comes from decisions that sound fairly ordinary: straightforward account connections, persistent context, a computer that keeps running, and a messaging interface you already know how to use. Those details determine whether someone actually gets started. I’m comfortable choosing models, connecting APIs and debugging an automation. For serious engineering work, I still want control over the implementation and a clear view of what happened. But someone running operations or customer support shouldn’t need those skills just to automate a recurring task. They already know which information matters, what the exceptions are and when something needs approval. Giving them a way to describe that process and test it themselves opens up a much larger "normies" audience. It also applies to technical people doing work outside their speciality. I might want detailed control while building software and very little setup when organising research or preparing a weekly update. The product should accommodate both. If Grok Bot gets that right, it could reach people who know exactly what they want to automate but don’t have technical expertise to build it.
