Hackathon build: Raspberry Pi plus IR camera with Jev for image-classification security
At a three-hour hardware hackathon the author paired a Raspberry Pi with an IR camera and used Jev for image classification to build security software that flags zones and items stores mark as not-to-be-moved.
Another One 👆🏾 3 Miami Hackathon wins in 2 weeks. Just give me hours to make a innovative and beautiful looking app. Oh and some 🍕. Today was the @devindevelopers X Hardware Meetup. We had 3 hours to make a killer app using the Rasberry Pi. We paired ours with a IR camera and I used it to create security software using @typesafeai JEV... My first real time use of a decision model for image classification. Created a dope tool that allows stores and business to list areas and items that should not be moved. The fun part was making it detect my NY decal on my shirt from halfway across the room, I called it New Yorker Alert Mode for laughs. Worked flawlessly, the UI was gorgeous and it was a fun time. Great to see all my hardware buddies. I'll share more details soon. We're cooking over here. Let's work today #TheAIMogul #HardwareHacker #VictoryLaneAgain.
