Using Grok Bot as the single front door to switch between frontier models
A user shares their setup: Grok Bot as the only UI, switching models through Cursor cloud agents and Claude Code on an always-on Mac Mini, with Notion as a shared memory hub.
The way I’ve setup my AI now does not require me to use any app other than Grok Bot, but I can still switch models and use any frontier AI I want. I just use Grok Bot as the primary UI and front door to everything now. If it’s a task Grok Bot can do end-to-end, Grok Bot does it. If I want to leverage Opus 5.5 for things it’s good at, I can do that through either Cursor cloud agents or by tapping Claude Code directly from my always-on Mac Mini. If I want to let Grok Build hammer code for hours, I can drive it through my Mac Mini terminal also. Or I can just use Cursor cloud agents for agentic Grok 4.7. One of the most annoying parts of being an AI user right now is constantly feeling pressure to switch between products as everything changes. I love this setup because I don’t have to do that even when I want to model hop, and I can keep my UI/setup consistent regardless of which model I use. I can run any of my subscription meters I want by using Grok Bot (Grok Bot, Cursor, Cursor “other models,” Claude Pro, SuperGrok Plus, etc). And for a universal data storage center, I use Notion. All of my AI’s (grok, grok bot, cursor, claude) are all connected to it and all write their shared memory to it autonomously. Is this as token efficient as prompting Claude or Grok directly vs using Grok Bot for a handoff? No, but it’s well worth it for the convenience factor, and Grok Bot is my favorite UI for driving AI.
