DeepSeek V4.1 Flash does what Grok does at much lower cost, user says
A user complains Grok 4.7 is stale, saying V4.1 Flash 1017 does what Grok does at much lower cost and works well enough in OpenCode Go to justify a Cursor sub.

It's been a month since Grok-4.7 and they really need to release 4.8. Every model is much better now and whatever Grok does, Deepseek v4.1 flash 1017 does it and at much lower cost. Don't know if quantized or not but v4.1 through opencode go works fine for me and long enough to justify a cursor sub. @elonmusk release something fast.
