User take: Higgsfield is pricey but owns the AI video narrative
The author says criticism of Higgsfield over pricing, workflow-as-product and paid campaign transparency is partly valid, but its pricing nears profitability and its Nvidia backing secures a moat.
Higgsfield won the narrative. a lot of ppl hate Higgsfield and some of the points are valid, but a lot of the hate is overblown imo. most comments are around > them being a bit expensive > selling workflows as products > they could be more transparent with paid campaigns but unlike most ai companies, id imagine their pricing actually gets them closer to being profitable. (which almost none of these companies are) they also didnt try a billion things. they doubled down on ai video, had a ton of viral moments, put together a strong creator program. and now with a direct nvidia investment / partnership its pretty much ggs even with the major players today, it feels like everyone is trying to be good at everything and you never really know what they’re the best at. for most people, when they think AI video, they think of higgsfield. thats as good of a moat as any in 2026, only other company with that level of dominance in a sector is midjourney & image gen.
