A developer flashed a ROM onto a store-bought Modretro cartridge in developer mode using an OpenAI DevDay key and a Codex plug-in, and it also worked on the original Game Boy Color.

ROM on Consumer Cartridge CONFIRMED! A @modretro in #DeveloperMode (via @OpenAI #DevDay KEY) can flash ROM on a store bought Modretro consumer cartridge {RIP Buck ROM - saving wasn't possible} The PCBs aren't the same, but similar enough to allow the delightful #Codex #PlugIn that @pvncher & team whipped up (for some of coolest SWAG I've seen at a conference!) ⚡🕹️🧩 It was even backwards compatible with the OG #GBC [prototype was just seeing if I could fit @Adobe Photoshop on a Gameboy screen size] @gamestop #ASTRA #Chromatic
