OpenAI launches Astra Ultrafast mode

OpenAI says Ultrafast in Codex runs up to 8x faster than Astra Standard and 4x faster than Astra Fast, aimed at coding at the speed you type.

  1. Ultrafast is our fastest way to build with Astra yet: in Codex, it runs up to 8x faster than Astra Standard and 4x faster than Astra Fast. Bring your ideas to life as fast as you can type them.

  2. Ultrafast is available for Astra in Codex and ChatGPT Work on Enterprise plans, and through the new Pro 500 plan. Ultrafast for Astra is also available to all developers via the API. Ultrafast for GPT-6.1 Sol is coming soon. https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/ultrafast-mode
