@AnthropicAI just passed @OpenAI in closed-lab token share for the first time since GPT-6 Astra launched: 43.3% vs 40.8%. But it came at a cost. Since mid-July, @OrnnExchange's Closed Source Token Index dropped from $1.65 → $0.64/MTok (−61%). Anthropic's price drops were a significant contributor: $1.95 → $0.84/MTok (−57%) Closed-lab token volume has more than doubled in the past 3 months, and OpenAI, Anthropic, and @Google are all eager to win the price war.
