Developer complains Gemini 4 Argon still hasn't launched
A developer says Argon already appears in Antigravity Code and Google Cloud but is still unreleased, and criticizes Google's launch pace compared with OpenAI and Anthropic.
I am Very Disappointed With Google I have been waiting since yesterday for Gemini 4 Argon. I thought it would come yesterday or today, and I even watched the full livestream thinking they might announce it. Nothing happened. :( Its literally already in Antigravity Code and Google Cloud, which made me think the launch was really close. That's why I predicted it would come either yesterday or today, but nope. Hopefully they launch the Pro model this century. Google really needs to learn from OpenAI and Anthropic on how to launch models quickly and actually get them out to users.
