Comparing six AI assistants from Claude Code to Dots
A user separates Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Muse, Grok Bot and Dots by role, notes heavy overlap, and asks how much reminding and checking each still requires.
do i need six AI coworkers or am i hiring the same one six times? Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Muse, Grok Bot, Dots… here’s how i separate them: Claude Code: coding agent in your terminal, editor or browser. Cursor: code editor with local and cloud coding agents. ChatGPT: research, writing, files and tasks across apps. Muse: personal agent built around your goals, memory and follow-ups. Grok Bot: give different bots different jobs and let them work together. Dots: personal agent that coordinates ongoing work and delegates tasks. these overlap a lot. that’s partly why it’s confusing. what i actually care about: how much reminding, explaining and checking do i still have to do?
