Unfortunate but I really don’t think Anthropic is in a rush to release Fable 5.5. OpenAI has no competitive model ready to go right now that beats even Opus 5.5. Astra 6.1 is facing alignment problems and we probably wouldn’t see it anytime soon. They might just hold it back? I was hoping for a release this week but I’m not sure.
