Jev concept plus PicsArt build yields a short video with 326,981 likes
The author asked Jev to turn the "guess who slapped me" challenge into an absurd story that escalates every few seconds, then built the video with PicsArt and posted it.
I MADE THIS VIDEO WITH JEV + PICSART 326,981 likes I told Jev: “Turn the ‘guess who slapped me’ challenge into something that gets more ridiculous every few seconds.” The concept: A guy plays the challenge with his dog and a gorilla wearing a red bandana. It starts like a normal viral skit. Then the gorilla understands the game, starts joining in and turns the entire room into chaos. I expected people to watch the first slap and scroll. Instead, they stayed for 24 seconds. The structure did all the work: > the challenge is recognizable immediately > the dog makes it familiar > the gorilla makes it impossible > every slap creates a new question > the reactions keep escalating > the video ends right after the biggest payoff Nobody needs context. You see a dog, a gorilla and a man waiting to get slapped. You already need to know what happens next. Jev gave me the concept. I built the video with PicsArt. Then I posted it on Instagram and watched it reach 326,981 likes. One familiar trend. One completely wrong character. One reason to keep watching. @Picsart
