Trader uses Meta Muse to talk a Dell rep into $60 off a monitor
A trader complains there are few options for a 43-inch monitor, has Meta Muse chat with a Dell sales rep to knock $60 off, and explains why he avoids dual monitors.
Dude I'm getting a $DELL. Not more stock though. Definitely not their PCs. If you want a 40-43" monitor with normal aspect ratio, height adjustability, and built-in speakers, seems there is only one option on market; Dell U4323QE. Had my Meta Muse knock $60 off by chatting with sales rep. Wish I could get it a bit lower as I still don't understand why 98" TV is $2,000 today while a relatively small PC monitor is half that. I absolutely hate dual monitors for investing. Back in 2018, was among first to get that Samsung 50" ultra-wide, which was equal to 2 side by side normal. The problem with that is you have to turn your head left to right constantly, takes too long in fast markets. So I only used it a couple years and never as a dual-monitor like setup. The sides always stayed blank without windows. I like having everything within my field of view, without turning head. However, that means I have multiple windows smaller than normal and hence, 43" screen. This is for cost basis optimizing. NOT t-wording!
