Cortex launches Harness to run frontier models on real robots
Cortex Harness lets users assign tasks to frontier models on real robots, steer them in language or take over remotely when stuck, and record every recovery for training.
The part that stuck with me is not the model picking the cup. It's the part where it gets stuck, a person in Singapore takes the controls for a few seconds, then hands the robot back so the model can finish putting a battery in a slot in San Francisco. That's the loop robotics has been missing. Prompt the robot. Steer it in language when the view is bad. Take over remotely when language isn't enough. Capture every recovery so the next run is better. @cortexairobot just launched Cortex Harness for that. Pick a frontier model, give it a task on a real robot, and keep the job moving when autonomy falters. http://cortexrobot.ai/harness
