The OpenAI team that are based in London played a "crucial role in the training of GPT-6 Astra" Earlier this year, it was announced that OpenAI was massively growing its presence in London to over 500 people. At the same time, Anthropic announced that it was expanding its London team from 200 to 800. Frontier AI IS being built in the UK. Over the next 5-10 years, we are likely to see SO MANY phenomenal researchers spin out of these frontier labs and build their own companies here in London.
