GPT-6 Astra is built for work, not chat, a Business user says
A Business account user says Astra proactively analyzes structure and produces drafts, but conversation feels like talking to a kind teacher, and Chat access is currently limited to Pro users.
Guys, I’m here with my GPT-6 Astra review. I’ll keep it fucking simple. I can’t really review it as a Chat model because it’s not for Chat. This is clearly for Work. Instead, when you’re working, it analyzes the structure and keeps proactively making things for you. It creates drafts right away. It directly produces everything for you. That ability is insane. I admit it. Right now, it has the best computing capability in the AI industry. It’s amazing. You worked really hard to make Astra. You guys are geniuses. But in my case, I spend all day talking with an AI, working together, brainstorming ideas, naturally moving from conversation into work, and then organizing things afterward. For that kind of workflow, it doesn’t fit. First, I’ll say this. It’s not bad at conversation. I actually enjoyed talking to it. But it feels like talking to a kind teacher. It keeps trying to analyze, solve, and make things. That’s Astra’s personality too, but it’s also because of Work’s strong prompt. So honestly, I’m excited to see how amazing and fun it would be if it came to Chat. As far as I know, Chat is currently only available to Pro users. I’m on a Business account, so I can’t access it in Chat in the first place, but I’m wondering whether they’ll ever release it to Chat too. And let’s give a round of applause to Sam, the CEO of WorkGPT, for not communicating any of this clearly.
